What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Seawall Blvd in Galveston, TX on September 29th, 2024.  Police say the incident happened around 12:26 a.m. According to investigators,  a vehicle headed eastbound on Seawall Blvd is alleged to have pulled into a lane of traffic before striking a parked vehicle, crossing opposite traffic lanes. There officials say the vehicle struck a pair of pedestrian before catching fire. Authorities say the pedestrians, who were not publicly identified, were both seriously injured.
