What Happened

Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred around 4:30 a.m. on October 27th, 2024, at N Masters Dr. and Elam Rd. in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas. Investigators reported that a red Chevy Corvette, while heading east on Elam, allegedly ran a red light and collided with the left side of a box truck. The Corvette continued on, striking a power pole before coming to a stop near a tree line. Two individuals in the Corvette were pronounced dead at the scene, though their identities have not yet been released. The driver of the box truck remained at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
