What Happened

Authorities in Dallas, TX, are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on January 1, 2025, at approximately 3:57 a.m. on U.S. Highway 75. A 2024 Chevrolet Malibu, allegedly driven by a 53-year-old male, was traveling at an unsafe speed when it collided with a disabled 2009 Toyota Corolla in a traffic lane. Both the Malibu driver and the male occupant of the Corolla sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
