What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at Hwy 35 in Brazoria County, TX on August 31st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 a.m. A Ford F-250 was headed northbound on Hwy 35 when it veered into opposite direction travel lanes. It then sideswiped a Toyota before crashing head-on into a Ford F-150. The woman driving the 250 and the man in the 150 both died at the scene. Two children in the 250, ages 6 and 12, were hospitalized in stable condition. Additional information was not available.
