What Happened

Authorities in Kendleton, TX, are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred on March 10, 2025, at approximately 10:28 p.m. on FM 2919 near SL 541. A 2008 Chevrolet Impala, traveling northwest, failed to control its speed, left the roadway, struck a highway sign, and overturned. The 17-year-old male driver, who was unrestrained and unlicensed, was ejected and sustained fatal injuries. Two male passengers, ages 18 and 19, were also unrestrained and sustained suspected serious injuries. Speeding was identified as a contributing factor. The investigation is incomplete.
