What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at FM 570 and I-20 in Eastland, TX on January 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Taurus was northbound on FM 570 as a commercial truck was southbound. Reports allege the Ford entered onto the opposite side of the road before colliding with and traveling under the commercial truck. Police say both the 24-year-old Ford operator, who was not publicly identified, and a 20-year-old passenger, also not publicly identified, were both seriously injured.
