Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 137 in Dawson County, TX on October 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:04 a.m. Investigators say a commercial truck headed southbound on Hwy 147 may have failed to control its speed prior to colliding with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Authorities allege the tractor-trailer was improperly parked in the roadway at the time, the driver standing outside the vehicle. The driver was thrown in the impact.
