Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 36 in Rosenberg, TX on August 4th, 2021. Police say the incident occurred around 9:53 a.m. A commercial van operated by a 22-year-old Houston man was headed south on TX 36 South when the man is said to have fallen asleep at the wheel. The van then veered from the road and crashed into a concrete culvert, causing serious injury to a 34-year-old passenger. The driver suffered minor injuries.
