What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Hwy 21 in North Zulch, TX on February 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck traveling eastbound lost control for unknown reasons before crashing into a guardrail. From there, the truck crossed into the westbound lanes before it was struck by an 18-wheeler. Officers allege the pickup truck had been speeding at the time of the crash. The driver and passenger of the truck were both hospitalized with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The 18-wheeler operator was not injured.
