Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 181 in Wilson County, TX on July 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:59 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 operated by a 30-year-old Pearsall man was headed southbound on US 181 when it veered from the road at a slight curve. It then took evasive action and crossed into a southbound lane before going into a skid and veering into a barrow ditch. The vehicle struck a fence and tree, causing both the driver and a 29-year-old passenger serious injuries. Reports indicate a Failure to Drive in Single Lane Charge was issued.
