Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Whitecap Blvd and Bonasse Ct in Corpus Christi, TXP on May 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:04 p.m. According to investigators, a golf cart operated by a46-year-old Corpus Christi man was headed westbound on Whitecap when it failed to control its speed and struck a curb. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn, seriously injuring the driver and leaving a 44-year-old passenger with minor injuries. Reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver.
