Area authorities have information on a two-vehicle crash that killed two people at Judson Rd in Longview, TX on July 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:05 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford pickup truck headed northbound on Judson Rd was approaching the intersection of North Spur 36 on a green light. At the same time, a Mazda sedan was southbound, attempting to make a turn onto Hill Street. As it made the turn, police say the vehicle traveled into the path of the Ford, the two vehicles colliding in the process. The impact pushed the Mazda from the road into a third vehicle, seriously injuring the driver and passenger of the Mazda. They were taken to an area hospital where officials say they died from their injuries. The condition of the other drivers was not stated and authorities did not have any additional information to share.
