What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 75 and Campbell Rd in Richardson, TX on February 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. A pair of motorcycles were reportedly headed northbound on US 75 when the collided for unknown reasons. Both cyclists were ejected from the vehicles in the collision. A tanker truck and sedan traveling behind reportedly both swerved to avoid the crashed and collided with each other. The cyclists and sedan driver were all hospitalized and one of the cyclists and the sedan driver suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not available.
