Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at County Rd Y in Hansford County, TX on June 16th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:53 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Xterra was westbound on County Rd Y before losing control for unclear reasons and going into a skid. The vehicle is said to have veered from the road into a fence and tree. Reports say the occupants of the vehicle traveled via private vehicle away from the scene. One, a 27-year-old woman, was seriously injured while a second 22-year-old woman had less serious injuries. Reports allege the driver, a 19-year-old woman, may have been under the influence of alcohol and reports show a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and or issued.
