What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two women at Joe Battle Blvd and Montana Ave in El Paso, TX on April 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:08 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 44-year-old Eric Castillo Murillo exited State Loop 375 onto Montana and was attempting a left turn when it turned into the path of a Honda Accord making a left turn. Both vehicles collided, causing minor injuries to the 21-year-old driver and her 23-year-old passenger in the Honda. Murillo was uninjured and reports indicate charged for Improper Left Turn and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility were recommend and/or issued against him.
