What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at  US 83 in Ochiltree County, TX on May 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:05 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Cobalt operated by a 19-year-old Guymon, OK man was headed northbound on US Hwy 83 on the wrong side of the roadway before colliding with a Dodge Challenger operated by an 18-year-old woman. The impact caused serious injuries to the Guymon woman and less serious injuries to a 44-year-old female passenger in the Dodge. The Guymon woman was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Additional information was not immediately available.
