Authorities have information on a crash that killed a pedestrian at I-30 in Greenville, TX on February 2nd, 2024. Police say it happened around 10:56 p.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti QX60 was northbound, approaching a pedestrian who was allegedly crossing the southbound center divider into northbound lanes. The vehicle allegedly attempted to perform an evasive maneuver to avoid striking the pedestrian but was not successful. Reports say the pedestrian, identified as 29-year-old Tyler Elrod, was struck by both the Infiniti and an approaching Volkswagen. Elord was fatally injured in the incident.
