Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 75 in Melissa, TX on January 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:57 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Yukon operated by a 23-year-old Sherman woman was headed northbound before colliding with a Honda Civic. Police say the Honda was disabled in a lane of travel at the time of the collision and allegedly did not have active rear lighting. The driver of the Honda was not in the vehicle at the time of the collision and was struck by the vehicle while standing near the vehicle. The victim was identified as 21-year-old Tyler Lange, suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not provided.
