What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-30 in Morris County, TX on November 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 58-year-old man was headed westbound on I-30 in a left lane. A Dodge Charger operated by 21-year-old Tyrone Burnett Jr was traveling in the same lane ahead of the truck. As it merged into the right lane, the truck collided with the Dodge. The truck driver alleged that the Dodge braked suddenly and Burnett suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
