Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at President George Bush Turnpike in Irving, TX on July 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:36 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Sonata operated by a 25-year-old Arlington man was allegedly headed southbound in the northbound lanes of the turnpike. The vehicle ended up colliding head-on with a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 36-year-old Tyrone Craig. Police say both drivers were seriously injured in the collision and allege the driver of the Hyundai may have consumed alcohol prior to the collision. Additional information was not available.
