Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured three people at Hebron Pkwy in Carrollton, TX on March 13th, 2022. Reports place the accident happening around 3:46 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Camry operated by 32-year-old Marcos Diaz was headed northbound on the service road when it allegedly ran a red light. A westbound Hyundai Sonata operated by 27-year-old Tysen Anderson Smith reportedly had a green light and was struck by the Camry after proceeding into the intersection. Smith was seriously injured and hospitalized while a 27-year-old passenger in the Camry suffered less serious injuries. Diaz was also injured and records show Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
