Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at MacArthur Blvd in Irving, TX on March 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra operated by a 22-year-old Irving man was headed southbound on MacArthur approaching a flashing yellow light. The vehicle is alleged to have failed to yield before turning left onto East Valley Ranch, colliding with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep is believed to have a green light at the time of the collision. A passenger in the Jeep, identified as 20-year-old Vaanisri Yadlapati, was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from.
