Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 158 in Kyle, TX on November 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened 12:25 a.m. A Chevrolet Malibu operated by 28-year-old Valentin Zuniga Perez is said to have been headed eastbound on County Rd 158 when it allegedly sideswiped a Nissan Frontier headed westbound. The Malibu then veered from the road and crashed into a tree, causing Perez serious injuries. The other driver, 59-year-old Sonia Cantu, was reportedly not injured.
