Texas Department of Public Safety Officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at North Seguin Rd in Converse, TX on September 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:43 p.m. A Mazda B2200 operated by 50-year-old Verne Francis Holmes III is said to have been headed southbound on Seguin Rd when it reportedly veered from the road at a curve and crashed into a tree. Responding officers allege that Holmes admitted that he had been drinking earlier in the day but that there were no signs of impairment or intoxication. Holmes suffered serious injuries in the collision.
