What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at I-45 in Ennis, TX on August 18th, 2021. Police say it happened around 2:30 a.m. A GMC c1500 operated by 27-year-old Victor Padilla was stopped on the right shoulder facing south when it turned left and drove into a tractor-trailer operated by a 46-year-old Cedar Hill man. The impact caused Padilla to be ejected from the vehicle and he suffered serious injuries.
