Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-10 and Dallas St in El Paso, TX on June 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:56 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Versa operated by a 22-year-old El Paso woman was headed eastbound in a left hand lane of I-10 before colliding with the rear of a commercial truck. 22-year-old Nissan passenger, Victoria Alexandria Ruiz, suffered serious injuries in the crash. The Nissan driver suffered less serious injuries while the truck driver was not injured. Officers recommended and/or issued a DWI charge against the driver of the Nissan.
