What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured several people at State Hwy 276 in Rockwall, TX on May 29th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 1:12 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Titan operated by 55-year-old Elvin Gomez Guzman was headed northbound on Rochelle Rd when it alleged disregarded a stop sign and t-boned a Chevrolet Traverse operated by 43-year-old Vikki McInerney. The collision left McInerney with minor injuries and a passenger, 44-year-old Sonja Cobb, with serious injuries. Guzman was also seriously injured and reports indicate a charge for Intoxication Assault was recommended and/or issued.
