Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at TX 44 in Nueces County, TX on May 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:25 p.m. A Peterbilt 379 dump truck reportedly failed to yield at an intersection and collided with a GMC Yukon operated by 60-year-old Virginia Salinas. Salinas suffered minor injuries in the collision. The dump truck driver was not injured and charged with Failure to Yield.
