State Police are investigating a crash that injured two people at Washington Blvd in Beaumont, TX on May 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:28 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Suburban operated by a 32-year-old Beaumont man is alleged to have collided with the rear of an Audi Q5 stopped at a red light. The driver of the Audi, identified as 29-year-old Vonniel Louis, had injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. The Beaumont man also allegedly had non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against the driver.
