Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Clay Rd in Houston, TX on September 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:21 p.m. A Honda Civic operated by 59-year-old Walter Davilo Paredes was headed westbound on Clay Rd when it attempted to make a lane change and struck a curb. The vehicle lost control and spin into a tree after vaulting over a median divider. Paredes suffered serious injuries. Responding officers allege that Paredes smelled heavily of alcohol at the scene.
