Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at Spencer Rd in Denton, TX on October 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 38-year-old Denton man was westbound on Spencer Rd before turning left to enter onto a property. Police allege the vehicle failed to yield right of way while turning, traveling into the path of an approaching eastbound Honda Accord. The two vehicles collided and police say the driver, 55-year-old Wayne Campbell and passenger, 56-year-old Ladonna Campbell, were both seriously injured. The Denton man, who was not publicly identified, was not injured, according to police. Sources indicate charges for Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger and two counts of Intoxication Assault were recommended and/or issued against the Denton man.
