Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 605 in Jones County, TX on December 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:51 a.m. A Chevrolet pickup truck operated by 69-year-old William Boyd is said to have veered from the road and went though a fence before it went into a dirt berm and caught fire. Officials say Boyd was unable to escape the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
