What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 377 in Granbury, TX on September 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:17 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Sierra C2500 operated by a 36-year-old Granbury man was traveling eastbound as it approached a Honda Accord stopped behind a Nissan Rogue, which was also stopped for traffic ahead. The Chevrolet is said to have failed to control its speed, crashing into the Honda which was pushed into the Nissan. An occupant of the Honda, identified as 64-year-old William Conn, suffered serious injuries. The driver of the Honda was evaluated for possible injuries. The condition of the Nissan operator was unknown while the Granbury man was reportedly unharmed. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault with Vehicle charge.
