What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at  US 62 in Gaines County, TX on August 18th, 2021. Police say the incident involved a vehicle operated by 51-year-old Wilma Delk reportedly traveling on the wrong side of the road before colliding head-on with a Jeep operated by 62-year-old Samuel Pennington. Both drivers suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
