Addison Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Addison Rd in Addison, TX on June 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:24 a.m. Investigators believe a Lincoln MKZ operated by 38-year-old Mario Paredes had been headed westbound on Keller Spring Rd before attempting to turn left at the intersection with Addison Rd. Officials believe the vehicle lost control during the turn, possibly due to it traveling at a high rate of speed, before striking a curb. From there, the vehicle also collided with a large tree, the impact causing serious injuries to a 28-year-old passenger. Paredes suffered injuries suspected of being less serious than his passenger and authorities recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge.
