What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Clarendon Dr and Hampton Rd in Dallas, TX on May 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:07 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Accent operated by a 49-year-old Grand Prairie woman was headed eastbound on West Clarendon Dr when it allegedly disregarded a a stop and go signal and collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe operated by a 26-year-old Dallas man. Neither the Dallas man nor his passenger were injured. The Grand Prairie woman, who police allege suspicion of intoxication, suffered serious injuries. Reports indicate  Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility charge was issued.
