Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at County Rd 12 in Parmer County, TX on July 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 2500 operated by a 27-year-old Friona man was southbound on County Rd 12 at the time. Authorities allege due to suspected intoxication and a washed out roadway due to heavy rains, the vehicle left the roadway and veered into a ditch. Police say the driver and four passengers had suspected minor injuries. A 53-year-old passenger and infant child passenger both had more serious injuries, according to investigators. Authorities recommended an Intoxication Assault With Vehicle charge.
