What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at FM 1010 and County Rd 343 in Plum Grove, TX on December 31st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:12 a.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra, operated by a 27-year-old Cleveland man, was northbound on FM 1010. The vehicle is said to have veered from a curve in the road before traveling into a drainage ditch, striking a tree and overturning into a road sign. Reports indicate a 14-year-old passenger had minor injuries while a 22-year-old woman had serious injuries. The driver and an additional passenger were allegedly uninjured. Sources indicate a DWI and an Intoxication Assault charge were recommended and/or issued.
