What Happened

Jonestown Police are investigating a crash that injured a woman at  FM 1431 in Jonestown, TX on May 5th, 2022. Police say the accident involved an eastbound vehicle losing control for unknown reasons and striking a guardrail and traveling over and into a ravine. The unidentified 23-year-old woman spent two days in the ravine with serious injuries before she was able to climb up top and was spotted by another driver. The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
