What Happened

Harris County Police have information on a crash that injured a woman at FM 1960 in Harris County, TX on October 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:20 a.m. A Toyota 4Runner operated by 29-year-old Luis Zelaya was parked in the shoulder lane of FM 1960 when a Buick operated by 44-year-old Shamika Oliver veered from its lane and struck the Toyota. Zelaya and Oliver were uninjured, however, a 21-year-old female passenger in the Toyota suffered serious injuries. Oliver was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
