What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at FM 306 and Goodwin Ln in New Braunfels, TX on May 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:06 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Camry operated by a 22-year-0ld Canyon Lake woman was headed northbound on FM 306 when it was struck in the rear by a Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 20-year-old New Braunfels man. The impact caused the Canyon Lake woman serious injuries. The New Braunfels man, who police allege may have consumed alcohol, was not injured. Reports indicate charges for Accident Involving Damage and DWI were recommended and/or issued against the man.
