Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at FM 724 in Smith County, TX on July 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Beetle headed eastbound on FM 724 is alleged to have veered from the road after the driver allegedly fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned, the crash leaving a 46-year-old passenger seriously injured.
