Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Loop 323 in Tyler, TX on April 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:40 p.m. Investigators say a Ford Escape operated by a 28-year-old Tyler woman was headed eastbound on Loop 323 before entering into a left turn lane. In the turn lane was another vehicle waiting to turn before the  Escape was rear ended by a Ford Transit van operated by a 38-year-0old Tyler man. The woman operating the Escape had injuries believed to be serious in nature. The other driver was not injured, according to police. Officers recommended aFailure to Control Speed charge against the Transit van operator.
