Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a woman at Main St and Trosper Blvd in Hidalgo County, TX on May 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:58 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Impala operated by a 16-year-old Mission teen was headed westbound on Main Street at an alleged high rate of speed when it lost control, struck a curb and collided with parked, unoccupied vehicles. A 20-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries. The driver was evaluated for possible injuries and reports indicate an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued.
