Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Peachtree Rd and Military Pkwy in Mesquite, TX on January 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:35 p.m. According to investigators, an Acura TL headed southbound was allegedly fleeing police pursuit prior to running a red light at an intersection and colliding with a Nissan Maxima. Reports say the Maxima operator, identified as 30-year-old Demarcus Miles, had possible injuries while a 26-year-old woman riding as a passenger in the Acura was seriously injured.
