Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at San Antonio St and Academy Ave in New Braunfels, TX on May 14th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:48 a.m. According to investigators, a  Hyundai Santa Fe is alleged to have run a red light before colliding with a Chevrolet Equinox. Reports indicate the driver of the Chevrolet, age 71 and not publicly identified, was seriously injured. A 50-year-old passenger had minor injuries while the driver of the Hyundai had possible, unconfirmed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
