Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman at South Padre Island Dr in Corpus Christi, TX on August 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:54 p.m. A Golf Cart operated by a 39-year-old Crowley, TX woman is said to have made a sharp turn on a steep driveway that caused the cart to overturn. The driver was ejected and suffered serious injuries. The passenger was not injured. The driver was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
