Authorities have information on a crash that injured a woman at State Hwy 87 in Galveston, TX on March 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tundra was westbound on Avenue J before allegedly failing to control its speed and colliding with the rear of a westbound Ford Ecosport. The collision is said to have seriously injured a 30-year-old passenger in the Ford and left the 37-year-old driver with less serious injuries. Two additional passengers as well as the operator of the Toyota all had possible injuries, according to reports. Reports also show the Toyota operator, who was not publicly identified, was charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not available.
