What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman at US 90 and Cane Island Pkwy in Katy, TX on May 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 a.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 58-year-old Yesid Navarro was reportedly reversing inn a lot as a 32-year-old Cleveland woman was reportedly checking hose connections on her tractor-trailer. She was outside the vehicle as the other truck was reversing, striking the vehicle and causing minor injuries. Navarro was not injured in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
