What Happened

Edinburg Police are searching for a driver in connection with a crash that injured a woman at South Expressway 281 in Edinburg, TX on February 16th, 2022. Police say it happened just after 6 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Explorer collided with a pickup truck towing a trailer under unclear circumstances during a an attempted lane change by the Ford. The impact caused the Ford to veer into a concrete barrier and overturn and a female occupant was taken to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The pickup truck involved is said to have left the scene prior to police arrival.
